A well-established firm with a strong presence across Essex, our client offers an extensive range of legal services able to advice and represent clients throughout their personal and business lives. Having achieved a number of accreditations including Lexcel and CQS they have approachable and experienced Lawyers they endeavour to achieve the best possible outcome in all cases.
We are now seeking a dedicated and technically excellent Paralegal fee earner to join our clients’ thriving practice in Colchester on a contract basis. Commencing as soon as possible, the successful Paralegal will hit the ground running, supporting lawyers within the specialist Child Care team; liaising with parents, local authorities and other parties. Duties will include: preparing statements; instructing Counsel; file opening and closing; attending hearings and PLO meetings to assist fee earners; telephony; document production and; general office administrative duties.
This is a temporary position, available immediately, envisioned to last until the New Year and suited to a confident Paralegal seeking a new challenge in a well-regarded practice. Please contact Ryan for further information quoting reference RC25923.
You must be a Paralegal with solid experience gained within a reputable Family department.
You must have excellent technical skills, with specialist experience in public Child Care matters being essential for the position.
You will be client-focused and able to manage a demanding workload with minimal supervision, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
You will have excellent academics.
You will be available to commence asap for approx. 6 – 7 months.
